3 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup warm water (110°F)

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

23 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water and sugar in a bowl. Let it sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).

 

2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt, then create a well in the center. Pour in the yeast mixture, olive oil, and jalapenos; mix until combined.

Knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.

Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about an hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down, shape into a loaf, and allow to rise again for another hour.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes
