  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour until lightly coated.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Sear the chicken breasts for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent (about 4 minutes), then add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth while scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in heavy cream and fresh herbs; simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spoon some gravy over each piece, then transfer everything to the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve hot.
